끄라비 교통 검색하다 찾은 게시물인데 내용은

지난 주 외국인 2명이 성태우를 아케이드에서 센트럴까지 타고 내릴때 150바트를 내라고 했다고 하네요.

(제가 끄라비 지역을 아직 잘몰라서 정확한 지명인지는 모르겠습니다)

계속 여기 20바트 내고 다녔다고 하면서, 40바트를 주니 갑자기 돈을 던져버리더랍니다.

다시 주워줬는데도 안받고 갔답니다. 

끝난줄알고 쇼핑하러 들어갔는데 갑자기 뒤에서 아까 성태우 기사가 쫓아와서 다시 돈을 요구했다고 합니다. 이야기 중에 100바트를 내라고 했다가 결국 40바트를 받고 태국어로 욕을 하면서 간 모양인데 외국인은 이 일로 차후에 보복당할까봐 걱정되서 글을 쓴것 같네요.

(얼마전에 집단린치 당한 영국관광객들 사건을 의식하고 있다는 생각이 드네요)

3. 이런 경우 어떻게 대처하시나요? 혹은 이런 일이 일어나지 않게 좋은 예방법 알고 있으면 공유해주실수 있는지요.

(댓글에서는 빈 성태우를 타지말아라/ 돈을 던지던 말던 일단, 돈을 줬으면 상대를 말아야된다 뭐 이런 글들이 있네요)

4. 끄라비에 하얀색이랑 붉은색 성태우가 있는 것 같은데 뭐가 다른가요. 또 다른 색깔도 있나요?

5. 노선을 돌아다니는 성태우 탈때도 항상 목적지랑 요금을 말하고 타야되나요?

Hi all,

About a hour ago my girlfriend and I took a songthaew. The driver said yes to our location and we hopped on. We have done this lots of times and the fare has always been 20 baht by default.

We arrived at our destination and we gave 20 baht each. The driver and his wife looked at us in confusion and started saying 150 baht, but we knew that was overcharging us.

We explained he didn't tell us a price before we got on and we always pay 20 baht. We said we take alot of songthaew's every day.

Then he tried to give the money back and looked angry, he then threw the money at us. We picked the money up and tried to hand it back a few times but he was having none of it.

He then drove off. We walked into the shopping mall and we heard someone behind us saying something, we turned around and to our surprise it was the driver. He must of parked outside somewhere and followed us into the mall.

He then started saying something in Thai but then kept saying 150 baht. He did look angry so I remained calm and explained he didn't tell us a price before we got on and we always pay 20 baht. He then started to get more worked up and angry. He then demanded 100 baht. But we didn't have that much on us.

Eventually he said ok give me the 40 baht, so we did. He then said something in Thai (obviously swearing at us) then stormed off.

But this situation was a bit scary as he followed us into the mall and tried to make a scene. Especially when he threw the money at us in the first place and drove off. But then why follow us afterwards and try to get more/make a scene?

My girlfriend is a bit worried as she takes a songthaew sometimes to the area where we got on his truck and we were just wondering if we should be worried about this situation?

Do we just hope he doesn't recognize us? would he do something violent if he saw my girlfriend on her own (the area is busy and by a school)?

It was a bit scary as we know that sometimes situations like this can lead into something dangerous.
