보루부드르사원은 밑면이 정사각형인 피라미드형으로 된 큰돌로 쌓아 올린 3층 탑이라고도 볼 수 있다. 각층도 정사각형 모양인데, 4면벽에는 여러가지 부조물이 있다. 꼭대기는 원형모양인데, 가운데에 가장 큰 수투파가 있고 나머지는 이 것을 중심으로 둘러싸고 있다. 각 수투파안에는 부처님 좌상이 있다. 

(사각형과 원, 땅과 하늘, 기하학적 조화, 모두 신기하다) 

통상, 불교사원은 동쪽문으로 들어가서 시계방향으로 돌고난 뒤 북쪽문으로 빠져 나오는 것이 원칙이다. 

한번 올라 간 후 아쉬워서 다시 한번 더 올라 가보았다. 

It is a bulky cubic Buddhist monument, It consists of three layers and top. 
Each layer have galleries, There are many carved panels around galleries  
On top , there are many "stupa"s.  The biggest one is in the middle, other small ones surround that one.Inside every small stupa, a Buddha statue sits, with each hand on each thigh,  
Enter the eastern gateway. Walk around clockwise. Go up the upper layer through eastern gateway. On the  top, you meet the circullar platform - syombolize never-ending "nirvana". Exit through northern gate from the top
