1. Phimai

The Old Phimai Guest House's all staffs are very friendly.
If you want to visit there, I recommend the guest house.
It's oldest there, but it's clean and comfortable like home.
and you can get together local students. The guide and english teacher, Tom is very guenine, He'll let you know the history of Phimai. There is Khmer's ruin. It's same period with wat angkor in Combodia. That was so nice to me.




2. Khon Kaen

Deema hotel.
According to lonly planet, this hotel is included in mid-range. and They said the fare is from 250.
They said it's good deal, It has clean rooms with private hot-water bathroom and fan for 250B.

I choose the hotel because I wanted to take shower by hot water. actually that was a good choice.
I paid 200baht for 1 night. The room has a private bathroom with hotwater, big bed and TV. In my opinion, that's why now is rainy season. but i'm not sure.

and it's near market and It's not far from loas & vietnam consulates and center of the city.

I didn't get the loas visa in Bangkok. my plan was to get it in Nongkai. I came here and then I knew to get it here.
It took only 10 minutes.
The fare is same. Nomally 3days visa is 650 bahts and 1day visa is 950 bahts.
